Privacy Policy
Who we are
BTCvds operates BTCvds and is responsible for the personal data described here.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself), and the date you accepted our Terms.
- Sign-in data: the IP address and browser user agent of each session, so you and we can spot unauthorized access.
- Order data: the servers you order, their configuration, invoices, payment amounts and the blockchain transactions used to pay them.
- Support messages you send us.
Blockchain transactions are public by nature. Anyone can see them on the blockchain, independently of us.
Why we use it
- To create your account, sign you in and keep it secure.
- To provide servers, issue invoices and confirm payments.
- To send you service messages: setup, renewal reminders, suspension notices.
- To investigate abuse and comply with legal obligations.
We do not send marketing email and we do not use your data for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after the account is closed. Session records are deleted when they expire. Data on a server is deleted when the server is deleted.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close your account and delete what we are not required to keep.
Security
Passwords are stored with argon2id hashing. Server passwords are encrypted at rest. The site is served only over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure; use a unique password for your account.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change.
